    Selling the Astra

    http://www.imagehdd.com/view/2256img.JPG

The time has come to sell the mk4. Iv'e taken most of my stuff off but the question about the window tints remains. Do i leave them on for the buyer or would it help sell the car faster if i take em off? Also i can't take the (sxi) spoiler off because it'll leave holes but will this add to the value as it should make the car more appealing?

The car is a '99 2.0 16v Ls Di with 95,000 on the clock.
i've searched auto trader ads to get a rough idea of the value and it seems to stand between £2,500 and £3,500.

The interior is clean and the bodywork is in fair condition. The bumper has foglamps but dosent have a switch as i never got round to this.

'Dual Controls' , maybe you should try selling to a learning centre.
Since, it's a bit more specialised.

I would'nt put the towbar back on, when people see that they think the cars had a hard life towing everywhere.
    Sell it seperately.

Oh, and the spoiler won't really add any value, just make it a little more appealing, depending on the buyer.

Tints are all down to personal taste. Think of the market your looking at selling you car to and decide if you feel they would want the tints.

Personally it's probably best to take them off carefully

No, optional lights are not required to work, but they must be in a safe and secure condition.

Dont bother trying to sell the car to a driving school because i'm sure most wouldn't be interested in a car thats already got 95k on the clock.

Remove the dual controls would be my advice, people seem to think buying a car that has been used to driving tuition will make it a bad car.

standard models like my one are selling between £2,500 and £3,500 on auto trader. would it be better if i sold the car as it is with the irmscher stuff on? as for the dual controls i think i'll take em off, i dunno if they'll be usefull to any1 or are they universal?

how much could i sell it for as it is? - Minus the wheels coz they're gone

would you consider selling the towbar, looking one for my 2000 ls 1.7dti hatch!!!
