    AA Assistance

Yup, after all the hassle I have had the car recently, today I had to call the AA.

I was going to mates house in Kingston and was travelling on the M3 motorway. During the journey, I felt the engine was slowly losing power and slowing down. I can tell the car was slowing down, as I can see the road markings pretty clearly, when usually this is all a blur when your going at 80mph. I gave it some more gas, practically flooring it, but the car refuses to accelerate any more and the speedo was going down to 75 ish.

I turned off the motorway and parked up at the BP garage and called the AA. They turned up about 35 mins later and plugged in their puter and found no faults. He asked me to go for a quick spin, so I did. The car seemed ok through gears 1-4, but the turbo kick was very minimal. It kinda kicks a little and then just suddenly dies down for some reason. Also, in fifth gear and you floor it, the engine just roars and nothing happens

Cheers everyone. I have compiled my own mini report this time, since they did not write down anything when i booked the car in, so hopefully they will read it and then try to locate the problem. If the car still comes back as it is, its going back to the place i bought it from :|

If they say they find no fault, just reject the car, providing its the dealer you bought it from

after this little scenario they can't fob you off with some bullsh1t story.

have you not been taking it to the dealer you bought it from mate?
