    vw polo service light

    wondering if anyone could help me out my m8s got a vw polo and cant get rid of the service light thing , tried to do it like the vauxhalls but doesnt work... or if anyone knows if theres a VW site like this then much appreciated for helping

    press and hold the button that rests the millage
    switch on the ignition(with button held in)
    keep it pressed untill ----- comes up
    release the button switch of the ignition
    the service lamp now will be reset.

    On an Astra yeah, dont think that works on a Polo matey.

    ok try this

    switch ignition on
    press and hold speedo button
    switch ignition off
    release speedo button
    oil will apper
    press clock min button untill -----
    swich on ignition

    repeat this if you get oil/ino1 or ino2
    untill in00 comes up.

    I think thats for the older Polo's/Ibiza's etc

    Unless you do have the two small buttons on the digital clock, then its spot on.
