    Tyre Size Calculator

    hi,

    i found this website a while ago, i thought it would be usfull to people on here who are getting bigger wheels... tells you how accurate your speedo will be with the new wheels! very usefull me thinks

    S**T I would be travelling 3.5 mph faster if I was doing 60mph...
    Better be i bit more careful when going through them dreaded speed cams

    nice tyre checker, awlays wondered how to check this... when im doing 60mph im actually doing 59.5! hope that means theres less chance of me getting caught! hehe. good stuff mate

    basically just try and keep the rotating circumference as close as u can to factory..

    when i get some new wheels, ill go to 17" with 40 profile tyres, it's virtually the same as 16" with 50profile!

    yep, thats what i did, i got new wheels for my cavalier with 40 profiles and thats what have on my astra as the cav is tucked away and stored. so... the profiels are pretty much bang on, thats what i'd recomend.

    I went from 175/70R14 to 185/65R14 on the Astra, should be more or less the same.
