You'll have to have an external fob.

I have a cobra 2-2-1 system, really good alarm. I have had 2 different clifford alarms and I would never have them again, I had loads of probs with them. The bloke who fitted my alarm said he fitted cliffords for a while but then stopped because he said of all the complaints. He was also saying you get problems with them because they are really made for american cars and the electrics and relays are mostly the opposite to euro cars.

You can't really go wrong with a Toad alarm, personally I recomend Sigma alarms. Cliffords generally cause a lot of problems but this as with all alarms comes down to the fitter

Alarms can be linked so they only work off the factory remote to

i've heard clifford alarms aren't actually all that good... the guy inthe shop said to me... "lets just say they've got a very good marketing department, and that's about it" lol

i had a TOAD on my 306, that was pretty good, no bother and never failed (either that or no one tried to break in HA)

sigma i've heard are good too.

Both of my cliffords were fitted by authorised clifford fitters  My cobra works off the original key remote too.
