Yo Matt - how u doin buddy? I found the strip u get with the CDA particularly useless, I already had a bracket to attach to the engine mounts (three torx bolts underneath the CDA), suggest a trip somewhere in the am to get a suitable bracket! look forward to seeing u on Sunday!

Hi mate, how ya doin? Gotta say, took one look at the strip and thought 'hmmm :? '.

Im wondering whether sumwhere like B+Q wud do summats like you're on about?

Im sure i can figure summats out. ,lol

Just one more question mate (honest), just took delivery of one of those irmscher style splitters (its a copy), and was wondering how they are fitted? Do you have to remove that small thin plastic splitter fitted as standard? How is yours fitted, self tapping screws? Or bonded on sumhow?

Off to the pub now, but ill be back on here later to check ya reply. Cheers buddy.

    See ya sunday!!!

Funny that, my original reply suggested the same thing! go check it out @ B&Q, sure you'll find something that u can adapt.

re. the splitter - front or back? assume the front, use a bead of black silicone type adhesive all along the front and self tap behind the front wheel arch - got it? let me know if not and I'll advise further - if not see you Sunday! will fill u in on the plans I have over the winter - you'll love it!!

Same here, got a samco hose at the top and a piece of the cold air feed you get with the filter at the bottom connecting it to the vectra c inlet, really tight and doesnt move, placed the bracket back in the box
