was lookin around in the technical guides and see how to fit bonnet lifters...
loving the fact that it looks like no drilling is involved... i found myself wondering ...

£22, ask Kirsty on here. I got mine from her and I only have good things to say! Very easy to fit, no drilling. U undo one of the 2 bolts that hold the bonnet to the bonnet hinge, and put one bracket on there, then nip the bolt back up. The other one goes in a spare hole in the wing. Just make sure u get the top backet the right way up!! It's an L shape that needs to go across and then UP.

Oh yeah - and see here to buy

I bought myself some from trax they are universal ones havent got a clue how to fit them or if they will work, LMF dont sell them for the astra no more as the ones they sold all got recalled due to a fault on them.

    re: Bonnet Lifters...

I got mine from www.corsacentre.com (supernovas) they were £20

instructions are in German but the installation is easy as long as you get the top bracket right!

As you can see from the picture I installed mine with the thick bit at the bottom, I have now changed this to having the thick bit at the top because there is some 'lube' in the cylinder and when the struts are installed with the thick bit on the bottom, the shaft does not get properly oiled due to all the lube going to the bottom of the cylinder.
