Where to fit an Ecotek Power Boost Valve?

Was just wondering does anyone know where an Ecotek Power Boost Valve goes?

Am looking around the engine and can see lots of possible places but i dont know for sure and was wondering if someone can help, possibly put up a pic or edit one of the below etc.

    I have a Astra SXI 1.6 16v 02 plate.

    Thanks for any help.

an you also tell me where i can check on the engine (a pick would be great) what type it is as in an x16xe etc...

Just a small point - and Ecotek valve won't 'Boost Power' as you seem to imply, it's primarily a fuel economy/emissions device. Best read up on it first here

To fit to the above engine (or any other engine)- see here

yeah i know it doesnt exactly give much of a boost increase but with way it will boost it or save my money on fuel costs!

Not exactly sure what engine i have got without being able to check the manual.

put it on the same pipe as your purge valve ( the funny thing that clips on your airbox) as near to the throttlebody as posible thats where ekotek told me to put mine..

    Its a z16xe mate.

It wouldnt be an x16 on an 02 plate.
    Different emission laws.

Anyway the ecotec valve goes in line to the TB and the purge valve, cut the pipe and link it in line.

Beware though as the valves make a hell of an annoying racket!!!

I've got one on my 1.8 sport and it seems to work!
There is one on here how has got pic on how to fit it, do a search.
It goes on the ridge pipe(about 6 or 7 mm dia) that connects to
the side of the throttle body. But check first before you cut anything!
If not go on Ecotek's website.
To walk between the lines , would make my life so boring!!!!!!!!!
