    AUX Inputs

Does anyone know if the newer Alpine CD/MP3 systems come with AUX inputs? im hoping to get one and also to be able to add a screen at a later date

Does it usually say AUX input in descriptions or do i look out for something else?

Sometimes its called "Versatile Link" or "AI Net" or "AI link". My Alpine unit is the 9815RB, and it has a link for a CD changer or DAB or anything else like that. Alpine have designed it so u can have multiple sources connected to the one input, and u can control the units using ur head units controls. (U need Y cables to do this.)

I use mine just as a AUX input, and to convert the AI net cable to the usual RCA's u need an adapter cable!

I think it's a good idea, so u can link stuff together - but a shame u need to buy an extra lead to use normal RCA's as an input. It seems that most of the half decent units have it these days.
