    When do you recommend changing the brake fluid ?

    My car is du its second service 19000 miles, do you suggest i get the brake fluid changed aswel or ????

    It only cost me £20 to get mine changed on my calibra at a Vauxhall dealer.

    it is good to get it done at least every 2 years as brake fluid is Hydrosophic (spelling??) basically over time it absorbs moisture from the air and that contributes to the spongey pedal feel

    It is recomended as part of the service schedule.

    Its recomended as an addition operation and is therefore chargable extra to the service.

    Its not part of the 2 year service as it might not be comming in every year (might be on mileage) and it may have been changed allready for other reasons.
