    Head Unit Fitting Nightmare !!!

I aint gonna bore all u folks with the ins and outs of me nightmare.

But the end result is that i've had to put me standard head unit back in the car. The little wire on the aerial connector has snapped so I got no signal either now.... but me main problem for now is when I turn the stereo on theres "safe" on the display and nowt works. Is this because I need to put the code in or is it because theres no signal from the aerial  Sorry if this is a daft question ops:

Also, i've got the radio code but I got no idea how to input it into the stereo.

Any advice is appreciated before I set the car on fire

With the ignition on hold the "AS" button and turn your radion on at the same time while holding "AS" until you hear a beep.

Use button "1" for the first number, "2" for the 2nd and so on until you have the right number displayed the push and hold the "AS" button again

I did exactly the same thing except the aerial wire snapped where it's joined to the head unit.

The code should be in your car pass mate, a little card with loads of numbers nd codes on, should be in your leather wallet thing with the service book etc
