    removing/painting bump strips?

    can this be done? i am trying to colour code my car as i have bought a front and back bumper and am going to spray the standard skirts, can the bump strips be reoved and painted?

    has anyone done this and is it difficult, there must be clips or something somewhere.

    any help would be appreciated, please help.

    The bump strips slide off with some force i used a clotha small piece of wood and a hammer....
    If you have a five door you will have to slide them off from the front wing end left to right........ The back doors ones slide from right to left
