Finally - Lets start the mods! Help!

After 9 Months of having my GSI it is time for me to get modding! So far the sum total of all my mods is a de-restricted airbox

19" Mille Miglia T12's with Toyo tyres should help, and they are coming Friday

Next I want to look at modding the engine as much as possible, thinking about:

Courtenay CS3/4 (Incl 9ltr Intercooler, spark plugs, filter etc)
    Courtenay Sports Cat
    Courtenay High-Perf Front Pipe
    Milltex Cat-Back Exhaust
    Silicone Hoses

A couple of questions for you peeps if I may

If I get the CS3 or CS4 installed along with the Courtenay Precat and Front Pipe, would I be stupid to leave the std exhaust in place for a couple of weeks? I only ask because I can't find out where to get a milltek from and I seem to remember reading somewhere that they are in short supply. Which leads me on to my other question, where the hell can I buy one?

Ahem!!! Who had the 1st (prototype) Milltek then???

I'd agree with getting a Milltek, Daz. Not sure about your other choices on the tune up though.

You can buy most of the kit for the CS3 tune up without needing to spend out on Courtenay mods. Plugs you can get from www.sparkplugs.co.uk. I'd personally go for a K&N filter over a foam one, they seem to flow and filter better (yes I know I am still on a foam one!!). Milltek do a high performance precat pipe and they (from what Dave at Milltek said) gonna be less than half the Courtenay price . Sports cat could be the same as well, although I don't really rate them. Silicone hoses, I got mine off someone for half the Courtenay price, but they don't do a great deal and you can get most of the sections replaced using off-the-shelf pieces from Samco

    Thanks for you input guys

I of course overlooked the most obvious place to find a Milltek exhaust ops: 'phoned Courtenay today and it is going in for CS4 on 11th September and they will get the exhaust for me too

    I can't wait
