    Vectra C inlet pipe

    Just de-restricted mk Air box and wondered where the best place to get a vectra inlet pipe would b? :?:

    part numbers:

    Main Pipe. - 9177099
    Adaptor to Airbox. - 9177104

    I think they come to £12 ish.

    Its a bonus if you have the part numbers as kindly supplied above as the parts counter don't have the flexy pipe on their EPC :?

    I would do a search on here to see how they are fitted its difficult to explain without a pic but there are 2 notches that line up on the 2 pipes, but you need to twist the flexy pipe about 70-80 degrees to clear the rad hose on some cars

    btw - THIS PAGE has a how to with pics that work

    Also, how did u manage to get the bottom pipe out of the airbox?? I got the top one out after a fight with a pair of pliers and a screwdriver - but the bottom pipe wont budge! Is there a nack to it?? Cheers

    Brute force and a screw driver

    i rammed a screw driver in the notch thing on the outside of the pipe then wiggled and pulled the pipe from inside the air box It took a while to get it out but be patient and it will come!!
