    will 215's fit ?

    got a puncture and cant afford brand new tyre so got two avon's secondhand for free but they are 215 width as oppossed to 205 wwhich i have already fitted , will they fit my astra ok ? mk3 btw.

    I had rubbing from 215'son the rear of my old MK3, could just have been because the arches had been rebuilt. Thing is I know those rims are now an another MK3 and haven't heard about any problems he had

    ok well thats good news as i dont wanna be at Donny South with a spare odd wheel on the car ! :shock:

    I was thinking they might be best on the back as the front may rub when turning but you have all four as 215's ? If i can get them on the front it would be better as the wheels need balancing anyway .

    I only noticed rubbing from the back and they weren't on for long..... I did have it on quite alot of stering lock to and didnt notice rubbing from the front
