    Spyed a development car today

It went past me on a country road - so no pics I'm afraid.

It was a B sector hatchback, quite upright, almost like a cross between a Fiat Punto and the Hyundai Matrix, light metallic green with black taped up front and rears and chequer stickers over the front.

It had red trade plates '419 CL' , I'm sure it was from Lotus

anyone any the wiser as to what Lotus are working on?

I know they are Proton owned but I've no gen on Proton launching a B sector car, but Lotus are often brought in to work for other manufacturers such as GM, could this be a Corsa replacement??
why do today what you can...... I'll finish this later

    2958cc was 175BHP @ 4000rpm, 370Nm (273lb.ft.) @ 1900rpm NOW 230BHP/469Nm (344.9lb/ft)!! www.IUsedToOwnTwoAstras.com

Doubt it's a replacement for the corsa as GM are "allegedly" working on a facelift model which will bring it inline with the Mark 5 astra and the Tigra not sure on how true that is as it was Auto Express that revealed the story!

You were indeed right when you thought Proton!! Lotus have been working on a new proton whose platfrom will be the be used by Rover for the 25 replacement. Some pics of it are in auto express this week

Rover and Proton are now offically sharing each others technolgy.
