    Wot yup yo?????

According to my Haynes manual( ) - pg 11.28

    - Remove the rear seat backrest as described in section 40.

    - Using a wide blade screwdriver, carefully prise the rear quarter panel [door card] from the body. Take care not to break any clips.

    - Refitting is a reverse of removal.

    Wot yup to?????????

I heard you could do it without taking out the backrest, but I'm not sure. It's a ******* job though. Had to clip on back on once...

    How d'you get on?

I guess you've already done it by now, but if you haven't it really is easy. About 15mins to do both sides. I took all of the rear seat out, back rest and base, then pulled the rubber trim from the door frame and sort of ran my hand from underneath and pulled gently to release the clips except the top ones by the window. To get the last clips off, I squeezed my hand as far up under the door card as I could and then pulled upwards with one hand whilst pushing from behind with the other. After you've done the first one have a look at the back of it to see where the clips are and the next one will be well easy.

Again probably too late, but all you need is a couple of torx bits to undo the seat and that's it.
