    Speaker size

In my mark4 astra sri have not had a look yet but what size are they in the front and back and can you get to them with no probs?

Is it worth sticking 6x9 speakers in the back shelf or in the back seat side panels if they will fit?

This has been well covered before.
The front will take 6" components, standard rears are 5".
You can fit quite a selection in the rear, really depends on how much work you want to do.

This has been well covered but just went to a respected car audio shop and they said I would be best off fitting 5.25 and 6.5 wouldnt fit and range of 6's is very small. I'm very confused.

As said covered before, only one person that I know of has had problems with his 6.5" in the front.

The front will take 6.5" and not just 6" in the front and the rear will take 5.25" and not just 5" in the 5 door, and 6.5 inch in the 3 door in the rear. Remember for the front no matter what speaker you put sizewise you will need and adapter likewise for the rear of the 5 door. The 3 door does not need the adapter in the rear.

Monster for the front you are better off with 6.5" not 5.25".

Ok ill stay adamant that I want 6.5" in the front and not 5.25", guy said better midbass in a 5.25 but i was a bit confused by that. I'll stick with trying to get a nice set in the front. Think gonna go for a set of DLS UR6s now as too much hassle importing and waiting.
