    ECU Chipping

I wanted to know your knowledge of chipping your ECU. I've got a Mk3 2.0 16v Ecotec with 136bhp as standard. I was quoted that a superchip upgrade (Program & testing on rolling road) which cost nearly £300 would only give me between 5-10 bhp extra. Is this right and are their any other chips that are good for my ecotec engine.
A friend of mine has a Smart Car which he has had chipped which gave him hearly 25 bhp more at a simalar price. Thanks, Brian

10bhp is quite good for a N/A. It will probably make the drive a lot smoother so for £300 it could be worth it.

If I remember correctly you can take it back after 14 days with a superchip and tell them to remove the program and put it back to standard if your not satisfied.
