I decided to remove my bailey dump valve and reinstate the recirc valve, after reading that they leak boost at high rpm, fouling the AFR.
I thought i noticed that the boost/vac gauge read lower after fitted the bailey DV, now ive removed it and reconnected the recirc valve, the gauge is reading even lower. Origonally 20 hg or higher, then 18 hg, now its reading about 14 hg when my foots off the throttle.
Ive checked all the pipe work for leaks, which seems to be ok, another thing is i can hear valve operating more often than before (chattering), even when driving like miss daisey !
I ve pulled off the pipe connecting to the recirc valve when idling, and it sucks on my finger, is this normal, i thought it should only have vaccum when the valve needs to dump boost pressure ?
What does the relay and other thing with pipes leading to and from it do ? situated under the inlet manifold.
