    Tailgate Flushing!!!

I`m thinking of having my Tailgate flushed!!! Has anyone here had it done??? Any advice welcome?? What Price roughly??? Also where is the best place to mount the No-Plate and light???
I`m also thinking of ditching the rear spoiler and just having a Roof Tip one instead!!!

your probabilly looking at around £500/600 mark. i was planning to have this done untill i decided to sell the car. most people fit the number plate (with light) in there rear turbo skirt. if you want it done propperly you'll have to get the rear bumper modified. A good example of a good flush job is Mr Mat G's. (he's done exactly what your thinking of, flushed gate, roof tip spoiler, no Rear spoiler) go to the gallery and have a look.

GO for it looks great on the G

Make sure who ever does the flush boot knows what they are doing....it needs to be a steel plate welded into postion and then filled over to make smooth. For the number plate light I used Mk3 astra ones, worked really well but you could use any really. Make sure that you have the old light smoothed off though, nothing worse than seeing the old light and a smooth boot!!

For the solenoid you will find the vauxhall lock falls back and locks its self so you can either get a ford lock (like shaan) which doesnt close again or get the solenoid linked to your alarm so that you can grab the boot once the solenoid has poped the lock.

Depends on what rear bumper you have the number plate relocation TBH but there are ways around it. As for the spoiler ditch it!!!! oof top looks sooooo much better on its own IMHO

Thanks for the advice Mat... I don`t really want to mess about with the rear bumper so planning on getting the turbo rear skirt and mounting it there!!!! Going to get some quotes done soon and see what this is going to cost me lol!!!!
