    BT Broardband info

I posted about this a while ago now and have just recieved this email from BT

    Saving you £36 a year
Great news: we've reduced the monthly cost of your BT Yahoo! Broadband subscription by £3 - so you can continue to enjoy the true power of broadband from BT for even less!

    Better value - automatically
You needn't do anything - this new lower price will apply from your next payment.

So that we can continue to offer our best possible price to customers, we'll be introducing a usage allowance of 15GB of data a month. This is more than enough for the vast majority of our customers - for example, you can still download up to 3,000 music tracks every month.

You've absolutely no need to worry: the usage allowance will only be applied from early 2005 and, based on your current usage levels, you won't be affected by this change to your Terms & Conditions.

For more information about these changes, please go to www.btyahoo.com/newprice
So in reality how much am I gonna feel the pich of the download limits?

It looks like Bt have been getting tooooooo many complaints from film and record companies. My mate recieved one from them saying columbia pictures had downloaded hellboy off them and they gave BT strict permission to tell them to get off eMULE and delete the film and they would basically 'be watching' That means if the law changes BT will then have the right to black list you to every film and record company out there AND ISP.

So i think this is quite a sneaky move from BT limiting your monthly download so you dont take the pi55 with movies and songs. However 15Gigs is quite a lot and could subsiduate a few films before your bandwidth is cut for the month so please don't take this as a kick to the stones as long as you don't download shed loads of films and songe per month you will still be able to adore you presious porn
