    Painting sidestrips... sanding?

    Why sand?
I'm interested as the people who painted mine didn't sand them flat, so still fully textured... i sorta shook my head, but the paint does look alot more sparkly, as it's blue/purple metallic in it, lol....
Is there any particular reason to sand it first?

    re: Painting sidestrips... sanding?

    2 reasons really,

    1. to make the finished rubstrips completly flat and smooth
    2. to make the paint stick properly . . .so i't doesnt all peel off when you jet wash the car lol !
    If at first you don't succeed . . . . . . CHEAT !!!!!
