Can anyone please tell me what type of pistons are in the astra T?
Also have any of you had any problems when raising boost with the current pistons leaking oil?

I had that problem with my coupe, Problem with Oil rings.

Saw the car was using oil but didn't know that was the problem, end result equaled broken piston. :-(

    All fixed now.

Sounds like the problem i have, its either a busted piston or a piston ring.
The car still runs fine, but the after a leak down test it revealed that the car is loosing 30% oil from one of the cylenders.

How do you tell if its loosing 30% oil??

The pistons in the zlet are made by mahl. it wont be the piston thats faulty it would be the rings that are worn, i heard that they had problems with early engines as no3 cylinder being abit slack on tolerences
