Rear Arch lips full of mud,

    Hi,

I was feelign around the rear arches to see how mush room was in there, anywah after about 30 mins of pulling out handfulls of mub if given up.

Surely this is not a good design all this mud stuck in the arches is begging for rot?

so cany anyone suggest a good underseal for me think ill be scrubbing the soil out with a hard bristled brush (not wire) has anyone else noticed this and what have they done to fix the problem ?

Did you get many "mush rooms"?, I fancy a fry-up in the morning!
    P.S. Were they magic?

Seriously though, why not get a set of mud flaps? or give up rally driving at the weekends

no rust but my work colleuges are wondering what heaps of soil are doing in the car park,

has anyone else got this problem ?

No mushrooms but it look dam fine soil if i was a farmer .... must have been living in there for a while.

will get the wheels off next week and clean them out then check for any rust.
very bad design if you ask me.

it would be all the crap you pick up on the road that spins off the donut and sticks to the top of the arch

rallying .... mmm nah its not that think my cars only been off road once and that was on a dry day.

Mud flapps wouldnt stop this i dont think its litteraly all the way round the rear arch the plastic inner is clean 9well as clean as id expect since it hasnt been washed for a week) but this is like years of compounded dirt by the handfulls.
its from the rear door all the way round the edge to the bumper.

Same here - it's amazing who much crud comes out each time.

I've got one of these doodies for mine that helps get in those hard to reach corners.
