You are not the first person to report this....

Do you mean that you get hesitancy when changing gears?
Or if you just calmy accelerate up to 3k and then plant the gas, it takes longer for the turbo to spool?
Once on boost, does it accelerate as quickly as before through the whole rev range?

If the valve was leaking on boost it would cause the fuel mixture to be wrong and affect performance.

yeah it takes longer and sometimes you wouldnt even think it was a turbo! overall it seems alot slower than it did with the standard dump valve. im not sure about keeping this dump valve on now!

It sounds like its leaking all the time. I don't have one of these, but aren't there adjustments on it?

mine seems a bit laggy in third gear some times

its like when you put the foot down it instantly pulls then goes laggy

and i have only noticed this scince fitting the DV

also you need to make sure it is a twin piston DV or it will leak

right i dont want you taking this the wrong way when i go through all the things that have to be done because i am quite sure your capable but here goes

did you remove and blank off the old standard one with the ring part supplied with the fitting kit?

did you attatch the long blue thin hose from the DV to the black thin hose that went into the old DV?

have you double checked the hose clips to ensure they are super tight and that there is no leaks ?

did you re-connect the electronic thing that gets in the way when removing the old DV? ( i missed this at first on mine but the engine managment light came on )
