    1.8 SRI 2001 Astra

    Ive found one of these close by to me im thinkig of going to look at it tomorrow!

    Do you still get TRACTION CONTROL and ABS with this model all so would i be better of with the 2.0i?

    If it has ABS then it will have traction control, there probably won't be any switch to turn it off with so you will only know it's got it from the light on the dashboard when you forst switch the ignition on.

    As for quick I have been impressed with them even with Minxy behind the wheel and if I ever had to go down from my turbo would pick this

    cheers ill have to go and have a look tomorrow its priced at £5995 with 42k miles and its black and i really wont a black one!

    I think you would notice the power down compared to the 2.0 megane you are used to in the 1.8

    I would still track down a 2.2 or a 2.0

    Have you considered a CD or CDX spec 5dr - then 'sportyfying' it

    Have thought about it but i really like the 3 door! Im not to worried about the loss of power from the megane to the astra as im getting an old man now lol so it dnt worrie be i just wont a nice car to cruise around in!

    Nope are they any good then?

    Just had a look on auto trader for the 2.0td sxi and only 1 came up!
