    18" wheels as standard

did anone get the slip of paper in the drivers hand book in the gsi which shows the size of tyre needed of the standard 18' that the apparently fit to the caby and coupe?

i dont know why this slip is in there but it is a genuine GM slip

is this an option in Germany or something?

I think it's for when you get the Irmscher wheels option

You can now buy an Astra Coupé with 18" alloys as standard in the UK. As far as im aware, there not an option on the hatch (or at least not yet) but as the handbooks are generic you will get the presure information regardless of what model you own.

I'll take my scuffed turbo alloys with half bald tyres down to vauxhall then and exchange them for 18's then

Only £200 if you order the car new. They are about £170 each if you want to buy them afterwards.

The Astra GSi was intended to have 18" wheels as an option, but the wheels wern't ready in time so Vauxhall canned the option. Stuart Harris from vauxhall (VXR Boss) did say that the Astra G GSi was fantastic with the 18" 11 spoke wheels, really made a difference.

The factory fit option also includes uprated rear suspension. I don't know what compromise there is if you retrofit the wheels without the suspension adjustment.

All it is is a set of uprated springs, the dampers are the same, but this only applies to the Coupe.

All it does is stiffen up the rear end a little.
