    Views on the new Astra???

What does everyone make of the new Astra?

I had a good look around it at the Motor Show, and I am undecided about it, I don't know if I like it or not! :?

I did like the Monaro though!

Now I've seen a few nice ones on the road I have to say its growing on me.

I like the one thats on the advert, but on that same note they really need the big rims to make them look half decent, aren't they the 18" ones??

Haven't seen any on the road with Irmscher stuff yet, have any of you lot??

I still dont know, it will prob grow on me, and like Legoman says, it needs huge wheels to make it look decent.

Love the front, hate the back. My car has depreciated in value due to it, so altogether i hate it.

Am not sure, considered buying one but thought that the SXi 3dr I got looked better and was far less cheaper. Basic models look crap. I like the Signum better, looks more chunky.

somebody is speaking my language!! I've sat in plenty of monaros mostly HK to HQ the 70's models (I used to live in Oz) and the performance blew me away aswell as the looks and interior but the second i clapped eyes on the new monaro in the flesh i was totally gobsmacked all i could say was "wow i want one" it's well finished inside and out the powerplant is unmatched by anything ford could ever throw at it and i believe Vauxhall are gonna be chapping GM's door asking Holden to send some more across here! It's a very very nice car

I liked the Astra SRi 2.0 turbo in red at the motorshow the inside was a bit bland but i reckon the outside shows the way vauxhall are heading it's a nice looking car! Its deffinately not a car i can say i was blown away by the car looks pretty timid from the outside nobody would have known it was a 2.0 litre turbo if they hadn't put it on the number plates and there's no real desire for me to own one i think i would pass it up in favour of the MK4
