whats the best way to cure my squeeky breaks ?
I have the same problem i ve been recommended the following:
1) Remove pads & put copper grease on !?!?!?.
2) Replace paids.
3) Before replacement sand the corner of bottom end of pad at angle to catch any dust left on the disc this sometimrs causes sweaking.
It depends on how long your pads have been in use Geez. Either way, you need the pads to come out so you can examin them. Squeaky brakes usually points to wear or contamination and for the price of a set of new pads i'd recomend fitting new one's.
Don't forget that the calliper seats will also need a good seeing to with a wire brush to get rid of all the old copper grease and brake dust mix. When fitting the new pads, make sure that all areas where the pads and calliper meet will need a good coat of copper grease and don't forget to smear the back of the pads which will allow them to adhear to the shims.
