What is the real difference between.....

    A MK4 Astra GSi and a Astra Coupe 2.2.

Does the turbo engine make that much a difference?

Its the low down grunt that you'll notice with the turbo, you can make quite swift progress without really trying, but with a normally aspirated engine you'll have to work it harder.

When it comes to tuning, having the turbo means that even simple work such as a remap will release good figures. Its easier to frig with fueling as you can up the boost, more air and fuel = more power put simply

What everyone else has said . 0-100 figures the GSi is 4-5 seconds faster . Just overall more grunt and AMD take these to 240bhp/250 ibft with out anything else.
