looking at a mk3 1.6 cesaro- Any tips?

Hi, im looking at a mk3 astra 1.6 8v cesaro just as a cheap runaround.

Ive been recomended the car ba a "friend of a friend"
The car is a 1994 L-reg, 5 dr, apparently excellent bodywork condition, (apart from stone chips on bonnet, but that will be resprayed b4 sale)
92k miles, 7months mot, no tax, seemingly mint interior, has an aftermarket backbox and inuction kit, but needs a new starter motor.

    £450

Are there any areas to look out for apart from rotten rear arches, cracked doors, then the usualy for a high milage car like clutch, brakes, head gasket, etc

Also any 1 have any info/specs etc on the cesaro?? As ive not seen many of them about and dont no much about them.

    Thats what i thought!

Its just that where i park for work space is very tight and its increasingly hard to find spaces, and im frightened my mk4 sport is gonna get bumped/bashed

My girlfriend has a 1.4 Cesaro, and that has alloys, sports seats, power steering, leather steering wheel, central locking, electric windows, part colour coded bumpers, front fogs.

It may have heated/electric mirrors and/or electric aerial, I have also heard that it has sports suspension aswell.
Now drives : 2002 Astra SRi Turbo in Black

Our 1.8 has the spec of the 1.4 +
    leather gear knob
    Drivers airbag
    Electric heated mirrors
    Chrome tailpipe finisher
    ABS
    manual aerial and standard suspension

What to look for - usual vauxhall things - noisy throaty exhaust caused by the downpipe - check for corrosion on the 4 securing bolts which can be a bugger to remove, tears in the upholstery - it'l be a nightmare to get a match,

essentially its a 'sport' - a hot hatch look a like
why do today what you can...... I'll finish this later
