There is no exact answer, it all depends on what else has been done etc.

Best advice is to read posts (THERE ARE LOADS OF THEM ) about the places that do it, then . . . .

Go for it LN - you know I respect your knowledge - I haven't yet read through all the posts yet so if you can help I would be grateful.

I think the hoses have a bit of S9 TOL's spirit in them because since we've had them all we've talked about is really modding FT53 FXU!!!

I didn't really want to help fuel this thread as it been done so many times but for me at the moment

    it's between

    1. AMD if they can iron out their bugs and annoyances
    or
    2. EDS phase 2 rev. 3

    AFAIK you have the

    EDS/Regals map
    AMD Map
    CS/Mantzel Map
    PVD map
Mobile/Chip Tuning one that Mantamagic has

I've tried 3 revisions of the EDS one, and the AMD one. CS is pretty much the same as the EDS one I believe, and PVD are only just out, so cant comment.

IMO for best driveability and normal condition driving it has to be the EDS Revision 3. Felt as smooth as the AMD map, and didn't throw up the fault lights that the AMD one did. You do however need Phase II to have this SW, so it's not cheap :|

    actually - quick aside -

for EDS phase 2 - do you have to use the 9L pace/regal intercooler or could you use any IC e.g the new courtney front mounted one?

I personally dont think the original 9L one is that bad. Admittedly the top pipe could be better, but this is a very simple change to do with bigger piping
