    5 spoke turbo offset? Spacers?

Does anyone know what the offset is on the stock 5 spoke turbo 17"'s? I am going to lower the car about 1-2mths after i get it back and the rear wheels scrape in the guards already (but its' only the plastic liner), but i still don't think they sit "out" far enough in the front and rear... As much as i don't want spacers, i think that maybe 5mm spacers might be ok...? The bolts are plenty long enough i think and i'd need to get some made/bought... any idea? i'm happy to import

49mm always 49.... vauxhall use this offset as they feel its the optimum ofset for control in the event of a blow out.

You can go to 45mm.... but realy keep as close to 49 as poss.

hmmm, now i have 2 different answers, lol
I'd like to go 5mm each futher out, i SHOULD be ok, i would think? maybe a bit more I'm gonna get the spacers machined so they bolt onto the back of the mag, so they are safe

im using et38 - 9mm difference, with a 35mm drop on a coupe (which is a bit more accomodating than the hatch) which is fine. not sure how tight it is in the hatch tho.

Yeah its 47mm and 7.5 inch wide, don't go over 5mm or you might have to start arch mods
