Drove off for me lunch break onto the A303 (junction to Thruxton circuit) towards Andover (for those who know), and noticed right in the middle of the slip-road a blueish car, equiped with high tech radar, two PCs, on tick-over, ready for fishing.
Passed by increasing my pace and joined the A303. 30 secs later I was overtaken by a silver mondeo, 3 seconds later I noticed the blueish car on my rear-view mirror speeding after the mondeo and stoped it near the next junction...
On the way back I noticed numerous radar cars in the area.
While I was overtaking a slow volvo, a small white-ford-van is on me tail. I pulled out of his way and he fled doing well over 80. I flash him and waved to warn him for the radar spree...
He slowed down a bit, pulled down his window, stretched out his hand and with style gave me the fingers (I have to admit his style was quite skillfull, reminded me Greek taxi/bus drivers - no offence intented)...
For future reference, is there a special sign to warn people overtaking about mobile radars? While I don't like speeding, I also don't like people getting unnesessary speeding tickets.
P.S.: I hope he got done, just because he fingered me.
