    Is something goosed?

Pulling away feels crap... i mean it accelerates as normal... just sounds real grindy, and you can feel it through car...

Is something goosed? spark plugs? belts?

    :-( not fair.

    re: Is something goosed?

    Goosed ! brilliant word...

    anyway...

To delve deeper when pulling away the clutch doesn't feel smooth under foot, no judders just rough feeling, also when pulling away you hear roughness thats the best i can describe...

To be bleeding obvious - it sounds from that description that the clutch release bearing is on its way out. what sort of milage is your car??

So sayeth Ffoeg the prophet of Dooooom.

Best get it checked (oh, and start saving if I'm correct )

If the noise stops when you depress the clutch, then it`s the thrust bearing .................................................. . I think

    re: Is something goosed?

    Hi

    Thanks for the replies...

To add to this... there are no noises when stationary and if you push clutch up and down no noises.

Also noticed that if i am driving along without accelerating and push down slightly on the clutch the vibration has gone, but as soon as you accelerate and push down slightly on clutch pedal there is vibration through it.

    ??

    cheers
