    Very Tempted!!

I am very tempted to buy this but I have a funny feeling about it. It just seems a bit too cheap to me, as the damage is nothing to fix http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...29464&rd=1 . This is my ideal next car but like I said I don't think it's a straight car  .Too cheap for what the damage is..

maybe its just someone who doesn't know much about cars, they're advertising it for use as a doner car, so maybe they don't realise it can be repaired, and think its little more than scrap. If i could afford to take the risk, and could get the work done cheap, i'd seriously consider this. How far away from dudley are you, maybe worth takign a closer look?

I live in the North East, I have E mailed his a few questions like does it have keys, does it have a log book, has the car any id on it as if I was to buy it I would be putting it back on the road. A car in that condition would not be put up for sale as a breaker but sold as a salvage and repairable car, as it's nothing to fix. That Coupe has the least damage I have seen on any salvage Coupe

thats why i said maybe the guy doesn't know much about cars,a nd doesn't realise that the car could be repaired and put back on the road, it sounds to me like he thinks the cars not fixable, and only good as a breaker, thats the reason for the low price, therefore if it is fixable, you're gonna get one hell of a bargain. (or some1 is)

It should have some id like tag on the top corner of the dashboard or tag on the drivers door pillar, engine numbers, floor numbers. It still must have some id as if all those are removed then I won't buy this car..

One option - if it is 'crooked' and a dubious past - would be to buy another totalled Coupe 1.8 - possibly requiring a new shell , and use this one as the doner for engine etc - then lose the remaining parts at your nearby scrappy.

Dont know where that would stand with the VIC tho
why do today what you can...... I'll finish this later

If you can go and look at it then you should. Personally, i wouldn't bid on it unless i had saw the documents and was confident that the damage was repairable.
