    The Law

Was just wondering if anyone knew the new law on fines, points and speeding. Got a lecture by a cop on monday for going a little fast but he let me off and i heard from somewhere that the law had now changed. Can anyone confirm this?

As far as I know it's still 3 points and a £60 fine. Read loads in the paper regarding the change but I don't think anything is set in stone.

Cant remember where but was told if your in a 30 limit...

    30 - 35mph = 2 points and small fine.
    35+ = 4 points and big fine.

I take it, its not true then

the law is supposed to be changing but if you hadnt noticed the old system was 3 points and £60 fine that means you get 4 chances! the new system is supposed to be 2 points and it's meant to be the same £60 fine which by my mathematical brain means you get 6 chances now this is a brilliant way for the government to make more money!!!

I think we should just all buy bikes cos how many can say they havent had a fixed penalty!? Not many anyways
