    What does the ECU learn?

I have read on a few posts, that the ECU learns. It learns about your individual car, it learns how you drive, or it learns to work around problems. Also, I understand some cars, with drive by wire (don't know about Vauxhall) also adjust to your driving style.

So, could someone explain more about how the ECU learns, and in what way driving style affects it?

    Regards,
    Jonathan

the ecm/ecu has to do many drive cycles to set its self up and changes every time you start the engine, if you drive hard then it learns that and gives you the best responce and the same if you drive easy the above link is my database and there are many thing to help you understand the ecu/ecm
