    System upgrading

right sorry guys prob been asked a million and 1 times.
i have got a coupe and am looking to upgrade the stereo.

    firstly

    I have a Kenwood Mp3/CD player upfront.

Looking to replace the front speakers with a set of infinity components. 6.5" if theyll fit.

looking to replace the rears with a set of coaxials 6.5" if theyll fit
and power it all cushtly off an amp rocky fos or something.

getting a screen and ps2 aswell but that dont matter

main thing is I dont want a sub in the boot as I play ice hockey and itll get messy lol. right I have been told that the coaxials in the rear will not be a good enough replacement for lack of presence from the sub. Im basically looking for another option.

looking to fit these speakers in the rear 3/4 panels of the car next to rear passengers.

right guys suggestions please as I am mint at wiring and stuff but shit at recommending parts.! help me please

    thank you please

The co-axes will be fine for the rear.
Not sure about the 6.5" Infinity comps for the front.
Someone else on here was saying they couldn't get the mids to fit the front doors, however it really depends on how much work you are willing to do. It might require some of metalwork to be reshaped.
Unless you pack your boot completely full then there are ways to make a sub fit.
You could try an auto acoustics stealthbox http://www.auto-acoustics.co.uk/sbn-a498.htm or remove you spare wheel & use that space for mounting your sub in.
Have a read through the threads in the ICE forum & your bound to get some ideas

To give you an idea of how the stealth box looks:

I have a false floor of about 2 inches which helps keep it in place.

    But it is REMOVEABLE.

nah I am thinking just to use the original grills and put some midbass drivers in the rear door pods.

as I said dont want a sub just wanna put all the music I can into the actual car and not use the boot. trust me I take me and a goalie to training and his kits huge so still no to the sub lol.

so 6.5 dont fit easy then? wot sizes have people got upfront then?

wanna make it mint so I can put screen+ps2 thru it.

the 6.5 infinities fit no problems - i had a set until some **** put a screw driver through 1 of em - but yeah they will go in and will sound good.
Only thing i had to do is on the back of the door card where the plastic meets the card covered in material there was a small over lap which i had to trim back with a stanley knife but no big deal - went in easy as pie.
