Yep, all down to whether you personally want the prestige of a 500 limited edition or the GSi badge. I wish they'd done a limited edition of 500 GSi's ...

Same car effectively - Sri Turbo was the precursor to the GSI - slightly different suspension set up - but in real terms no difference.

GSI is cool, Sri-T are limited edition - so your less likely to see another one very often.

re: sri turbo vs gsi turbo

Why are they quoted with different 0-60's and top speeds?
    I don't understand that

different drivers - different conditions - different tracks -

    and the list goes on.

Everyone knows that all these car have been underrated in offical documents for the purposes of insurance etc.
Both these cars and the Coupe Turbo have sub-7 second 0-60 times ranging from 6sec to 6.7 depending on where you look. That said the map on the GSI is ever so slightly different to that of the SRI-Turbo - ECU & traction control has been updated to smooth out the power delivery

re: sri turbo vs gsi turbo

agree with u there m8. I've got a Zaf GSI with Regal phase 3.
a lot of tlk about tuning not doing what supposed to. I'm running 275.3bhp and 319lb/ft torque, before high flow front pipe. Even Chris at regal was abit taken back and kept my maps.
I've seen some standard cars on the r/r and there is a big difference. suppose it's just luck
