    Corsa wing mirror- problem with glass

    I know this is an Astra site but hey what the hell its a Vauxhall. My daughters 53 plated Corsa Active's N/S wing mirror glass seems to have come loose. Its the electric heated and motorised version. The glass seems to have come out of the central mounting which moves the glass around, I've tried like hell to get the damn thing to engage back again but without success. Is there a trick to this? do I need to remove the wing mirror back in order to see what I'm doing, if so is there a trick to this. I'm sure one of the mechanics on this site knows how to fix this little problem and I'm sure its a 5 minute job which Vauxhall will charge an arm and a leg for so if you can help out I'd be very grateful.

    Please list any instructions and assume I'm an idiot who needs to be told everything

    i would guess it is under warrenty mate also by fiddling with it you could make it worse then vxl will just blame you

    the glue has came un stuck on the back of the glass or it is held on by 3 clips i would take it to vxl as the glass cracks most of the time when you push it back in

    She took it back today and they charged her £11.52 for 2 hours labour. Suppose that's cheap but they say it was caused by someone hitting the mirror hard and bending it backward. Still all in all its fixed now. Thanks for the input guys.
