What do you lot think of the Bora?

    .................................................. ....

Just found the above car. I'd have an Astra TDi but don't think the engines are advanced enough really so have had to start looking elsewhere

Any views on this car or is it Bora-ing?

    Also, can these be chipped?

good cars mate - id personally have a Toledo (preffer the looks and more kit) either way the TDi engine is cracking and well up for being chipped £500 should see it at the 150bhp mark i would imagine

    That's bloody good

Danny... unfortunately I don't have that sort of cash for the new astra and the vectra is too big.

I don't particularly like saloons but I remember going to the motorshow and seeing a bora when they first came out and the boot was huuuuuuuuuge.

The golf is an option with the same engine but insurance group is 10 which is a lot more than the bora @ 8 and my astra @ 7.

VW group is pushing Seat as the "sporty" range, and I think they're dead on with what they're doing. Older Seats were really poorly put together, but more modern ones are built well and generally have newer engines and chassis/suspension than the VW/Audi versions of the same cars.
