DIY Refurb of alloys? any info?

Got a few kurb marks on my alloys ops: and was looking to sort them out over the holidays.

I saw this guide on how to DIY http://www.bmwtips.com/tipsntricks/w...uff-repair.htm

But the wurth paint is hard to get in the UK and I was wondering what paint I could use on some Fox Racing Evo 6's? (to ensure an even match)

Also on that link it suggests "Bondo spot putty" can I easily get that or its equivalent in the UK? or would I be better off with applying chemical metal?

    Cheers
    Matt

I was looking a an 'Alloy Wheel Repair Kit' in Half-fords yesterday and it appeared to included all you need to do the business - including filler and paint etc etc.

I don't know whether it's any good but it warrent a looksee

    Hi,

Cheers for the info, was reading around earlier and apparently for what you get its quite poor value, as they have "added value" by pulling together products and selling it as a kit.

I would prefer to do it with better paints if possible as im not sure how well the halfords ones last. If I have to though I will try it and shout at the manager if its rubbish
