    Ash Tray

Trying to remove the ashtray. Undone the screws, the right side pulls out a little but the left won't budge. Can see a platic tab to left of lighter that looks like it locates in surround. Is this whats stopping it coming out?

Did not want to apply to much force, any tips.

    Cheers

yup thats the thing stopping it and yup it is an absolute pain to get out but it will come with a wiggle and a tug or 2.

Sometimes a flat bladed screw driver helps alwell

    re: Ash Tray

    Thanks for quick reply.

    Maybe stupid question, but..

Is it easier with ashtray "closed" or "open".

Any way back to the kitchen, its a hard life for men these days

i think its best with the ashtray open - i'll send ya a pic of mine later if ya like pm me your email and i'll see what i can do - the ashtray has 2 clips that both face opposite sides - 1 is small and the other is mahoosive - if ya know what way to push em it will be easier for ya as I did end up snappin 1 on my first ashtray
