    Saw a Monaro today!

I thought these weren't out yet?

Anyway, saw one in silver on Deansgate in Manchester. Doesn't actually look anything special. Thought it was an Omega until it got closer, the 18s look nice, but i think the whole car just looks too subtle and boring.

    Opinions?

just a wee bit better allan your right there! the engines are great and they are really reliable i just dont think they are anything special cos they are fuel guzzlers and its too expensive across here to run a car that size! if i was gonna have one i'd move back to OZ and buy one fuels only sumthin like 50p a litre there!

They are "warning" us that petrol will be about $1.10 by the weekend (that's about 43p by todays exchange rate).
But . . . keep in mind for 43p a litre we are getting stuff you guys wouldn't put in your neighbour's lawn mower!
And as for the Monaro . . . as common as the Astra on our roads here now!

I saw this car in Wgrose showroom and fell in love with it. I wish I had enough cash to trade in my Astra Coupe and buy it but I don't think that is happening.
