Don't know if you're a car wash obsessive, (I expect not ) but a great resource for all things car cleaning/detailing is the forum on Meguiars web site. Not too many posts to trawl through but LOADS of great info.

You should definitely apply a further wax. These wash 'n waxes are all very well but absolutely no substitute for a 'proper' separate waxing. Make sure the paintwork is in A1 condition before you wax though. Any bug marks, light scratches, tar etc all need removing before you even think of applying the wax.

A search on these forums will reveal several threads about who prefers which wax. For me, it's been Meguiars 'Gold Class' but after trying their 'NXT Tech Wax' recently arrived from the States I'm a convert!
