I drove through a pot hole and punctured a rear tyre. Currently I have Avon zz3's on the front(symetrical single rotation), and the Michelin Sports(assymetrical multi rotation) as standard on the rear. I was quoted £132 for a replacement Michelin, or they recommended a Dunlop as an alternative for £108 (205/50/16). What would people recommend, should I pay for a Michelin to keep the rear tyres the same, change both of the rear tyres even though one has good tread, or use this as an excuse to buy a set of 19s! Obviously I intend to shop around as prices seem a bit steep. Also need to sort it very soon as my spare is a steel 15.
