How many car speakers have you blown up?

I was just chatting about ICE with a mate and the ratings of speakers .... yah de yah . . .

And I realised, with all my ICE installs (including my 1.1 KW Nova ) I have blown up a hell of a lot speakers in my life time

So here's the Poll, how many speakers have you wrecked? They have to have been unusable, ie crackly or melted, not just smells coming from them. Tweeters don't count as well (if they did I would score over twenty straight away ops: )

Only done a few in in my time but obviously because I know what i'm doing

    1) melted a free air sub running it full range, boy did that smell

    2) put a bicycle brake lever through a cone on a pair of 6 by 9's

Don't really count as blown up though

We did something similar to my mates 2 x 18" RF sub enclosure though. Dropped the f*cker down a flight of stairs when lugging it out of his bedroom (he'd been fitting the speakers to it and was v v heavy with them speakers in)

Both speakers cracked the PP cones from the coils on impact, but that was nothing compared to the damage it did to the glass partition in his parents front door ops:

I've been lucky and have only blown 1 set of speakers. They were in my last car, which I got rid of shortly afterwards anyway.

Don't think my speakers liked gabba

    2 x shitty 8's
    1x 8" tube
    2x earthquake 10's
1x 10" kenwood (my boot filled up with smoke)
1x 15" pro plus (though the max figure was rms :P )
1x 12" CT sub (the cone came apart)
    2x ballistic 10s (voice coils)

thats all i can remember, but im sure there was more from my youthful days

iv got 2 15" lanzar vibes, lets see how long they last...

All 8 OE speakers in the old Laguna RT I had. The remote volume knob stuck, so the standard fit Blaupunkt went a bit wobbly and cooked every speaker in the car.
