Astra GSi (03) Drivers side leccy mirror

Hi Guys - new to the board (flyer stuck under my windscreen wiper at York Dragway last weekend - Black Astra GSI, near control tower)

Some kind soul took some of my drivers side wingmirror off a few weeks ago, and Vauxhall have a policy or replace rather than repair on wing mirrors. The structure is sound all the is damagaed is the casing (gone) and the mirror (spider web pattern).

Anyone any ideas where to get it repaired cheaper than £200 ? (vauchall replacement price).

BTW, nice to see so many nice Astra's at York Last weekend.

    TIA

    Timekeeper.

Replace it with some aftermarket ones. Can get Elecie DTM mirrors for less than £200, and would be a nice little mod too

    Welcome to the site too

I think it's Tom that has the OPC mirrors on his GSi. They are for LHD cars so you cant see feck all out of them, when I had a look in them from the Drivers seat the view was v v poor. Looks though

Well in total about 8 weeks.. the glass they kept sending was the same as what was already fitted! The thing that I did like with the Left hand drive glass is that it had a blue tint, where as the one fitted now is just plane!
Still not a brill view though..

The outer mirror cover can be purchased on its own and so can the mirror glass, dont forget you will also need the aerosol to paint your new cover, I would say you are looking at £60 max.

I saw your GSi at York, very nice could of done with a clean though.
